About Us

We are a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional results. With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are committed to helping you achieve your goals and dreams.

We are a wide cross-section of individuals and organisations from a range of diverse ethnic groups/cultures (African, Caribbean, Asian, Eastern European, Afghanistan, Iraq, Fijian, etc), who due to cultural barriers have tended to operate independent of the wider community.

The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to black, minority and ethnic communities, but not exclusively.

Our objectives are:

  • To increase the skills, confidence and capacity of adults, young people and children enabling them to participate fully and effectively in society.
  • To realise and obtain equal access for opportunities in training, education, and employment etc.
  • Allow adults, young people and children not to suffer through ignorance of their rights and help them become self-reliant members of society.
  • Facilitate them in the understanding of diversity/cultural norms and provide opportunity for them to support disadvantaged and less experienced members of the society.
  • To promote understanding of the cultural and racial diversity within the focus area and to develop a strong sense of community spirit which respects this diversity, particularly among adults, young people and children.
  • Provide facilities to support a wide range of groups, in particular but not exclusively from minority organisations.

We work with a range of statutory/voluntary, and businesses to achieve the above objectives and deliver a joined-up service. These include: a creative design, print, website and marketing specialist; a community gym; a property management company; regional/national community youth project; Staffordshire University; Stoke-on-Trent College; regional voluntary organisation hub; national training and employment organisation; community leaders from 7 minority, hard-to-reach groups.

In partnership with the local schools, colleges, businesses and church groups, using the medium of education and training, we create an environment which helps participants to focus on their personal development via informal education, thereby improving their quality of life and wellbeing, and leading to greater awareness and in some instances, an academic qualification. We also provide participants with a broad range of creative skills and applications to improve their employability in a similar environment, enabling individuals to set up an “in house” evaluation framework which encourages personal development.

The community also benefits by, at the same time, addressing some of the inequality of opportunities that exist, actively encouraging those participants in a setting of integrated learning opportunities, and by supporting these individuals with English As a Second Language (EASL). This improves their employability and general integration into the wider community.
